Hilaire, a resident of Brockton for 14 years joined SHUP 3 years ago.  Hilaire has been active in the Brockton community for the past 10 years.  He is a member of the Brockton CDC association and an active member of a local Church where he serves in the health Dept. Hilaire has a BA degree in Family and Community Systems from Cambridge College and he is practicing home care respiratory therapy as a case manager, job he's been doing for the past 10 years.

Michael works as a Legal Secretary.  He has also been a member of Sacred Heart Parish Council for 10 years, 2 of which as President. Michael has been a member of SHUP for two years, and in June 2002 became vice-chairperson.

Fred, a Mechanical Engineer by profession, has over 22 years of experience as a community and human rights activist.  He is a longtime resident of Brockton and is currently involved with many organizations.  He is currently a Liaison for the Mayor's Commission on Crime and Drug Police Leadership, a Member of Emergency Management Assistance (EMA), Commissioner on Diversity, member of Brockton Police Leadership Council (BPLC).  Fred has served as president of SHUP from 1996 to 2001 and is now a Board member.

Jean has been a resident of Brockton for the past 2 years.  He joined SHUP in June of 2002 as a board member.  Prior to that Jean worked for 3 years with the Haitian community in Martinique helping them with various isues.

Mr. Jean-Pierre has been serving the community since 1987 in different capacities: GED program instructor, Radio and TV Anchor, After-School programs, SHUP member, Bilingual Teacher at Randolph High School. Currently, SHUP board member and secretary.
